They are full of the kids of people like me :-)

All four Manchester Jet2 flights that my two kids took at Christmas
were only around half full.

No

Here in Cambridge we've seen a rise in domestic tourism and
we dont have too many people flying in to the local airport.
They tend to come in via the London Airports.

Then there's the little matter that bookings rose markedly
following the July attacks in London while bookings in the
capital fell during the same period.

Its pretty clear that tourists, domestic and foreign chose
to avoid London

Actually there was a slight decline shortly after the bombings, but
then tourism rebounded and ended up slightly better than the previous
year at the same time.

Some say that things like bombings actually improve tourism over the
long run, perhaps by helping to gain mindshare for a destination.

In sharp contrast to both legs of our flight from Manchester to
Amsterdam, which was full! Several people from each flight on the flight
to Boston too.

It amazes me that people have no idea of relative risks. London traffic is
far more likely to kill them than the bombings, even if the latter happened
every year.

But CNN doesn't have two-week special reports on London traffic.
