Continental breakfast on Cosmos tours
We will be taking the 30 day Cosmos tour around Europe. They provide a
Continental breakfast every morning. Could anyone tell us what it
consists of?
Thank you,

It will usually be a buffet consisting of some (or all of):
bread, cheese, meat, fish (pickled or not), jam, cereals
(manufactured and not), boiled eggs and if you're really
lucky some salad items, plus tea, coffee, milk, juice etc.
It will usually be quite substantial, but after day 4 you
will be bored with it.

They must have improved since I last did a Cosmos trip (except for
Scandinavia, which did have a bit of variety).
All you'd get would be a couple of bread rolls (the ones in Italy were
almost indegistible), butter, a selection of a couple of jams (jellies to
the Americans), and a tea or coffee. I think you may have had a thimble of
fruit juice as well.

Well it was Scandanavia that was my model. I wasn't
on their trip, but I shared the breakfast room with 60
who did, in more than one hotel (not the same group).

Do they really go out of their way to have a different
breakfast for these tours? My parents went on one of
these tours many years ago and they stayed in chain
hotels of the 3* variety which normally serve breakfast
as I indicated.
