English pronounciation of places was London..

There's probably a cholmonderley (chummley)
Possibly the hardest call is where locals do it "wrong".
Pepys Street is in the old east end, a working class area of
dockers etc. They said "pep-ease", when of course its "peeps".
Theydon Bois should be French "bwah" but its "boys" for the
locals. There are loads of places where the extreme locals say
one thing and Londoners in general another, especially in the old
east end, further complicated by the influx of yuppies.
