Predefinito unknown "plants" in airline baggage

since checked in the main checked in luggage needs to be left unlocked, the
instance of theft has increased considerably. there is of course the chance
of goods being "planted" eg. the corby case in indonesia.
i for one always check that my bags have not been interferred with at the
baggage claim before approaching customs....even in my own country. i have
not quite worked out what i would do if i found anything. this is a big
problem i think.

I suspect that chances of being 'set up' and caught are far less than a
true smuggler being caught...
