Scandinavia - passport necessary?
Dear all,
Do you happen to know if, being a member of the EU, a passport is still
necessary to visit Scandinavia?

Being Danish I can tell you. It is not necessary, but if I were you I would
bring one anyway. It is a good way to identify yourself without any fuss.
But no: You don't need a passport. As you probably know Norway is not part
of the EU, but since they have a deal with the other Scandinavian countries
(and perhaps the EU as such?), you still don't need one.
Enjoy your trip.
