Predefinito What are the political consequences in France

1) It demonstrates clearly that Chirac is politically incompetent.

2) He will not resign and try to make due with a new Prime Minister,
Villepin.

3) Villepin is a political lightweight and will not last more than
a year

4) Sarkozy is the future man on the right. Chirac may have to appoint
him in a year or two.

5) Chirac can not win again if he runs.

6) Chirac will shift to the French Senat to avoid prosecution, like Pasqua

7) France will be weakened in the EU for the next 3-4 years.

8) The Far right will not particularly benefit.

9) None of this will be important to people visiting France.

10) God will continue to protect the French from themselves.

Your analysis, if it is really yours, is utterly uninteresting
