specific. Has ANYONE taken a Cosmos tour around Europe.

Several, but about 30-40 years ago. The ones we booked were one country
at a time. Breakfasts were then roll, butter, jam and coffee - more or
less (as far as I remember). The main thing I remember is that when the
brochure said 'optional' about any excursion, it meant extra. And there
wasn't much to the holiday unless one booked most of the 'optional'
excursions, which added considerably to the budget. The tours were then
so cheap that they still weren't bad value.
